Choice

You have the “choice” everyday to be happy but how many of us really understand what happiness is? If we are using words like I’m a, he/she thinks, I can’t or I’ll never a majortiy of the time, are we truly being positive?

How do we get caught in the trap of negativity? Is it because we live in a society that broadcasts mostly negative stuff on social media and TV and overtime we subconsciously develop a bad habit?

It’s time to create new neuropathways in our brains to break these destructive patterns that have been hard wired in our minds.

The 1st step towards implementing the advice in this cup of inspiration is to make the “choice” to do so followed by identifying the negative mind-chatter and using real time resilience skills. Next time you notice the negative mind chatter, ask yourself “That’s not true because or another way of seeing that is.

Try practicing the pause and gather the facts before rushing to judgement and I guarantee over time, your vocabulary will take on a more positive tone…..
